While this fixed some glaring errors, other faults in the cube remained, and a year of careful consideration has hopefully identified all of them
Hopefully that breakdown of why Stock Up is relevant and just how much it helps decks across every format provides some insight into just why everyones talking about it (and why a Standard-legal Uncommon is more than $15 CDN!)
If Im not seeing those and I start to see the role players for another guild, I would consider that the BG signals I thought I received were a fluke and that something else is correct for me to draft (which is just another reason that District Guide was a nice third pick as it still leaves me outs to a multi-color good stuff deck.) The hope is that by the middle of pack one you will have identified the open guild and be ready to settle in
Besides, I could easily imagine Merfolk decks not even playing it
Before the tournament, I wasnt sure exactly where Id want it or how good it would be, and during the tournament, I realized that Amulet Titan was a horrible matchup for me, which wasnt a great thing to realize in a tournament where it was tied for the most-played deck, but I discovered that Oko was also a reasonable desperation move that I could add to my deck in any bad matchup where I needed to be able to close a game quickly, something my deck generally cant do, and it actually let me win a match against Amulet Titan
Goblin Sappers and Orcish Cannoneers is fun, but it's also another example of the goblins blowing themselves up for their effect
