Your opponent cannot do anything during your turn unless you force them to do something through a card effect (discarding something, something is knocked out, etc.) This means that there's no "trap" mechanics or sneaky plays, just straightforward turn by turn action
Ticking up in loyalty whenever your creatures die, Lolth has good survivability and the chance to fire off an ultimate ability the turn it enters
