Magic Pot
If you have ways to gain a lot of life early on, you can pay a ton of life to get your whole deck into your hand winning the game with all your win conditions in your hand when your turn comes.
Red Mage's Rapier Rarity: Common TYPE: Artifact SUBTYPE: Equipment CMC: 2 Mana cost: USD: $0.14 EUR: 0.08 TIX: 0.03 EDHREC RANK: 8824 Job select (When this Equipment enters, create a 1/1 colorless Hero creature token, then attach this to it.) Equipped creature has "Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +2/+0 until end of turn" and is a Wizard in addition to its other types
It makes things better, gives you card draw, and usually makes expensive cards very cheap to cast
This pairs very well with Chocobos since they gain stats when a land enters, so if you can play multiple lands per turn, then Summon: Fat Chocobo's Kerplunk ability can make blocking your Chocobos pointless
But some of the cheaper ones seem like they might tempt certain Legacy archetypes with their synergies and any cares about artifact cards are always worth a look for Vintage, especially if theyre Tinker-able themselves
