Vintage Primitive Handmade Broom copper Size: 39 cm × 29A traditional handmade straw broom, alos know as a hearth broom or whisk broom. Made from natural straw or reed, tightly bundled and bound with wire bindings. Designed in a vernacular, utilitarian style, these types of brooms were created for indoor sweeping, particularly around hearths, kitchens, and workshops; however, today they also serve as lovely decorative objects.
