West Cork Glengarriff Peat Charred Cask cask-strength 🍷 Marsala wine richness —In 2007 three good friends got together and built up the West Cork Distillery a small independent whiskey distillery. The Peat Charred Cask Irish Whisky is aged for 5 years in former Bodega Sherry casks before receiving its finish in new American oak casks for 6 months. The American oak barrels are peated and smoked beforehand with the bog oak from Glengarriff. The wood contains a lot of natural peat.
