Each set there are a couple of cards I miss

Depending on your chosen commander and strategy, consider the following: Ensure your creature base aligns supports your commander's abilities

It's a terrible first land drop, but as long as you have a way to make creatures, it's the most broken mana-producing land in the game

Both of these cards also allow you to cheat out spells/creatures PLUS draw you some cards

Assuming this is a sign-post uncommon for the set, it appears Izzet will be leaning into its usual spellcasting ways, though perhaps with an expensive spells matter theme of sorts
